Humboldt General Hospital

Humboldt General Hospital has been operating as an acute care hospital since 1974 at its location at 3525 Chere Carol Road in Humboldt, TN. The 62-bed hospital became an affiliate of Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in October 1989 and has an active staff consisting of well-qualified physicians in family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine and geriatrics. There are a number of consulting physicians on the courtesy staff such as: pathologist, urologists, a gastrointerologist, a dentist, and a cardiologist. Humboldt General Hospital's newest facilities consist of the Dunlap Rehabilitation Center, a state of the art rehab center complete with exercise rooms and a therapy pool, and the Humboldt General Hospital Conference Center, a 400 person conference facility used by groups from throughout our county and community-at-large during the year thanks to the hospital's generosity. The businesses, citizens, and the City partnered with West Tennessee Health Care and a bequest from a local citizen, the late Thomas Dunlap, to build these first class facilities that Humboldt is proud to have! The hospital's service area consists of Humboldt, Gibson County and surrounding counties. We are so proud to have such a well rounded health care facility in Humboldt that offers such excellent service! Thank you Humboldt General for all you do for Humboldt, TN!!!
